Marco Polo opened in 1985 and has cooked Italian food on the Damrak for over forty years. A lot of our recipes are family ones, and we still make them the way we always have.
Our chefs use good ingredients, many of them imported directly from Italy, to make dishes that stay true to the way Italy cooks.
Dinner for two, a family celebration or a quick lunch between trains: we want every visit to be one you remember.

On the Damrak
Right where Amsterdam begins
You'll find us on the Damrak, the street that runs from Centraal down to Dam Square. Step off the train and you're at our door in two minutes. Schiphol is about fifteen minutes away, which makes us an easy first or last stop in town.
